Thanksgiving Family-Fun Turkey Shoot

Entry fee – $3 per relay, six shooters per relay.
Lucky 22 Event – each shooter fires a .22 at a blank page at 10-yards. The page has a numbered grid printed on the back, and the winner is the lucky shooter who hits the highest number.

50-yard Chickens – shooters fire one shot each at 5 Chicken Silhouettes at 50 yards. Any centerfire pistol, iron sights only. Any safe shooting position is permitted; no firearm support accessories are permitted. The winner is the shooter with the most downed chickens. Tie-breakers conducted when needed.

Running Deer Event – a lifesize deer target with scoring rings, travels along a cable suspended over the range. Using any deer-legal centerfire rifle, each shooter fires two shots offhand at the deer before it stops running. Two stages: 100-yards with iron sights, and 200-yards with scope. The highest score wins each relay. Tie-breakers conducted when needed.

200-yard Turkey Heads – prone shooters fire one shot each at 3 Turkey Head Silhouettes at 200 yards. Any centerfire rifle; slings & bipods permitted. The winner is the shooter who fells the most silhouettes. Tie-breakers conducted when needed.

A $10 cash prize is awarded to the winner of each relay. Great fun for the whole family! Depending on attendance levels, separate youth and women’s relays are established for each event.
